Carousel (CD)

This 1965 Lincoln Center revival cast recording of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel features original star John Raitt among a distinguished ensemble, preserving previously unrecorded sections of the classic score. While the Stereo mix is well-crafted, some critics note it lacks the immediacy of a live stage production.
